Your official payment status displayed after biometric login, your SMS notification from 8171 confirming payment readiness, and communications from your BISP Tehsil Office are authoritative. Rely on these — not on third parties or social media posts — for payment decisions.

If you use an eligibility checker tool or receive an estimated PMT score, this is NOT a promise that you will receive BISP payments. Only the official NSER survey and NADRA verification determines your actual eligibility. An estimate is not a decision.

Estimated PMT Scores Are Not Binding
Any PMT score estimate generated by eligibility calculators — whether on this portal or third-party tools — is a computational approximation only. It carries no legal weight and does not constitute an official BISP eligibility determination. The official PMT score is calculated exclusively by NADRA using the full NSER survey dataset.

No Entitlement Created
Access to this portal, submission of an enquiry, or receipt of any automated response does not create or imply any legal entitlement to BISP benefits, payments, or services. Eligibility is always conditional upon completion of the NSER survey, biometric verification, PMT score threshold compliance, and absence of disqualifying criteria.

Survey Data May Differ From Self-Reported Data
Information entered by users into eligibility tools may differ from data recorded during the official NSER survey. Discrepancies between self-reported information and NADRA/NSER records will always be resolved in favour of the official government dataset. BISP is not responsible for discrepancies arising from incorrect self-reporting.

Unauthorized Websites & Mobile Apps
Numerous unauthorized websites, Android/iOS applications, and WhatsApp bots falsely claim affiliation with BISP or the 8171 service. BISP has no association with any such platforms and accepts no liability for data loss, financial loss, or identity theft resulting from their use. These platforms violate the BISP Act 2010 and PECA 2016 — report them to FIA NR3C immediately.

How to Verify an Official BISP Link
Every official BISP digital channel can be verified by: (1) confirming the URL ends in bisp.gov.pk or 8171.bisp.gov.pk, (2) seeing the padlock (🔒) icon in your browser, (3) verifying it was accessed through the official helpline referral or your BISP Tehsil Office, and (4) cross-checking with SMS status from 8171.

Technical Failures & Service Interruptions
BISP shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience arising from temporary unavailability of the 8171 portal, SMS service disruptions, planned or unplanned maintenance, internet connectivity issues at the user's end, or force majeure events including natural disasters, cyber-attacks on national infrastructure, or government-directed internet restrictions.
Unauthorized Third-Party Data Breaches
BISP accepts no liability for data theft, identity fraud, financial loss, or SIM cloning resulting from use of unofficial BISP-impersonating websites, applications, or agents. Users who share their CNIC, OTP, or biometric data with unauthorized parties do so entirely at their own risk. Report such incidents to FIA NR3C at nr3c.gov.pk or call 9911.

Decisions Based on Estimated Results
BISP accepts no liability for financial, personal, or social harm arising from decisions made by users on the basis of estimated eligibility results, unofficial PMT score calculations, or payment amount projections displayed on this or any other portal. All such estimates are indicative only and carry no legal or administrative weight.
Agent & Middleman Conduct
BISP assumes no liability for the conduct of unauthorized agents, data-entry operators, or middlemen who claim to assist beneficiaries in accessing portal services. All BISP services are free of charge. Any agent charging a fee for BISP-related services is operating illegally. Report them to BISP helpline 0800-26477 or FIA.
